Residential Support Staff Floater

No Experience? No Problem! We provide on-the-job training for all new DSPs.
Wage:
$17.50/hour and $16.50/hour for any scheduled asleep overnight shifts (at sites where staff are permitted to sleep, typically between 10 PM - 5 AM or 11 PM - 6 AM). 

Yes, you get paid even while sleeping on overnight shifts!

Schedule: Full time Position 40 hrs/wk. Shifts vary based on program needs, will include a combination of hours/shifts. Can discuss further at time of interview. 

*Please note: there are no openings with a Day Shift Only schedule and some alternating weekend availability may be required to meet staffing needs.

You'll be working in a casual home setting providing support and supervision to adult individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License
Satisfactory three-year driving history to meet Agency Auto Insurance requirements
Previous experience working with Individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
Satisfactory background clearances
Must be at least 18 years of age due to regulatory requirements and responsibilities associated with the role

Job Responsibilities:

Assist program participants in developing daily living skills to promote independence
Maintain a safe, secure, and clean living environment
Complete all shift requirements before leaving duty
Establish and maintain positive community contacts
Submit all required documentation on time
Maintain accurate records of program participants' progress, health, activities, and finances
Advocate for program participants and provide community involvement opportunities
Assist in developing Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Assessments, and Quarterly Reviews
Report medical issues immediately and administer first aid and medications as trained
Safely transport or supervise program participants during daily transportation
